Ian Dailey, CEO

Ian brings past startup experience to Ix Innovations, having founded Husk Insulation, a high performance bio-based insulation comapny. Ian also draws commercialization experience from his work analyzing market opportunities for new technologies at the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer. Ian adds several years of experience in marketing strategy and execution from his time at Duncan/Channon, one of top independent advertising agencies in the country. Ian graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business with an MBA focused in entrepreneurship and from the University of Southern California with a BS in Marketing.

Brian Degnan, CTO

Brian is the inventor of the PocketPico measurement technology and a specialist in low-power circuit design with a focus on precision analog, power-constrained digital, and reprogrammable systems. He performed research for several publicly-held companies, the U.S. Government, and co-authored 2 patents. Brian was previously the technical lead with Audiallo, a low-power analog signal processing company. Brian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Computer engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Brian is also an alumnus of Kanazawa Institute of Technology and is fluent in Japanese.

Greg Marek, COO

Greg has 25 years of experience in the semiconductors and electronics. He has designed portions of high-speed low-power CPUs, directed engineering at a programmable multi-chip modules start-up, and as Chief Engineer rolled out an electronic security system. Additionally, Greg has application engineering experience for semiconductor companies such as Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, and Fujitsu Microelectronics where he assisted customers in implementing their designs in military, medical, industrial, automotive applications. Greg holds an MSEE in Computer Architecture from Stanford University and a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Aaron Nelson, CFO

Aaron has founded several companies over the last few years, raising over $2M in startup capital for NoInk Communications and selling TMPG, Inc. to a VC-backed firm. He has experience founding and directing a healthcare service company and with product development consulting. Aaron graduated with an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business and also holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
